The Chicago Tribune is a major daily newspaper of the wonderful city of Chicago, Illinois. It is the largest daily newspaper in the Midwest, and one of the ten largest daily newspapers in the nation. Ever since I became interested in journalism, I have wanted to move to a big city to write for a huge newspaper. Since coming to Chicago, working for the Chicago Tribune has become my latest and largest dream. Every time I am downtown in the city and walk across the river, I see the building with its big white letters in which hundreds of reporters, writers, and editors are bustling about trying to make deadlines. I want to be included in this busy lifestyle. I am sure that I will have to start out at much smaller papers after I graduate from Loyola University of Chicago, but I hope that one day I will fulfill my dream of living like Carrie from Sex and the City, and I will be able to work for this huge paper.
