Journalism is defined as the act of gathering, writing, or reporting news. It includes many jobs, such as editing, writing, photographing, or reporting for newspapers, magazines, television and radio stations. The news spread through journalism can include news of sports, celebrities, world events, politics, and local events. Though I believe that I want to major in journalism and eventually write for a newspaper, especially for the Chicago Tribune, I am not sure what I want to write about. I am planning on having a second major in the Spanish language, so I may want to write about international news. I have also been told that I would be a good reporter, so I might want to eventually do that instead of actually writing. If I can actually accomplish my two ideal majors, I would love to someday report in a South American country.
