Bob Sanders is my favorite player for the Indianapolis Colts. He is the starting safety. Though he is known for his small size, he is also known for how hard he hits and his speed. Sanders started with the Colts in 2004, when as a rookie he made 34 tackles and started six games. He has earned himself the title of “The Eraser” because he can erase the mistakes of his teammates. Though Sanders has suffered several knee injuries which have kept him out of many games, he always comes back, bringing life into the Colts’ defense every time. Sanders is very generous and charitable towards the Indianapolis community; he often spends his time helping kids and offering other community service. For these reasons and for his excellent football skills, Bob Sanders is my current favorite NFL player.
